The AR requirement is different this school year.  Students have the first and second nine week grading periods to read and test for AR.  Students are required to have 50 AR points by the end of the first semester (includes the first and second nine weeks). AR is still 25% of the students English grade.  Students are required to complete 50 AR points by the end of the second semester as well, they have the third and fourth marking periods to complete the requirement.
