Birthdays will be celebrated by having one classroom party each month. I will choose the day that our class will celebrate. Before this day, your child will bring home a note informing you of the date. Your child will also have the opportunity to bring in a snack to share. There will be more detailed information on the monthly birthday note.
Food/snacks that come to school for any reason MUST be prepackaged and have a nutritional label that includes a list of the ingredients. Homemade treats are no longer permitted. This has been discouraged at the school for the safety of students and staff with food allergies.
Please do NOT send birthday treats to school without my prior approval.
