Due to frigid temperatures and high winds, the Shade-Central City Schools will operate on a 2 hour delay, Monday, December 15, 2025.

Shade-Central City School District has openings for Full Time/Permanent Spanish Teacher, Varsity Head Volleyball Coach, Varsity Head Softball Coach, and School Board Seat. These positions will remain open until filled.

The elementary school has a remote learning day today. The high school will report to school as normal. The PTA Christmas Shop is postponed to December 8 and 9 from 8:30 a.m. - 2:50 p.m..

Due to unexpected issues with the heating system, Cambrook elementary school students will be on a virtual learning day. All junior and senior high school students will report to school as normal.
