There are many community resources available for youth and their families who suffer from food insecurity, and are in need of food. Please utilize the resources below if you are in need of food:
Somerset County Mobile Food Bank and Food Pantries
Somerset County offers a monthly mobile food bank and food pantries that provide food for those with food insecurity. The Mobile Food Bank distributes food monthly at the Central City Recreation Park. Summer Feeding Program (Summer Youth Cafe)
The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank provides a free, nutritional lunch during the summer months for all children 18 years of age and younger. Volunteers pick up the food and deliver it to various locations throughout the county.
