Open School Board Seat

A vacancy exists for an individual to represent the Shade-Central City School District Board of Directors. Applicants' primary residence must be located within the geographical boundaries of the Shade-Central City School District. This appointment would expire at the Reorganization Meeting in December 2029. Those interested should submit a resume or letter of interest to Dr. David Reeder, Acting Superintendent at the Shade-Central City School District in person or via email- [email protected] . Please contract Mr. Reeder with any questions or at 814-754-4648. Deadline: Friday, October 23, 2026.

Transportation Information

Please be advised that updated bus routes, and details for transportation changes for your student, are now available online. You can view your student’s specific routing information, by logging into your school Focus account and navigating to the transportation tab. If you need to make changes to their scheduled transportation, or have any questions, please call the school office at 814-754-5021. Thank you for your cooperation!
