Hello from the Superintendent – Year Two!
It’s hard to believe I’m already in my second year as Superintendent of the Shade-Central City School District—time really does fly when you're surrounded by amazing students, dedicated staff, and a community that cares deeply about education (and keeps me on my toes!).
Year one was full of learning, listening, and the occasional “wait, that’s this week?!” moment. But it was also full of progress, partnership, and a lot of pride in what we've accomplished together. Now, in year two, I’m excited to keep that momentum going—with fewer growing pains and more growing gains.
This year, we’re focusing on helping every student succeed, supporting our educators, and continuing to make our schools places where people love to learn and work. I’ll keep showing up with curiosity, humor, and coffee—lots of coffee.
Thanks for trusting me with this role and for being part of what makes this district special.
Let’s make year two even better than the first!
All the best,
Travis Robison
