Welcome Back 2022-2023 School Year
August 2022
Dear Parents, Student, & Families:
It is hard to believe that summer will be coming to an end soon and school will be starting sooner than later. The first student day is Monday, August 29th, 2022. I hope everyone's summer has been filled with fun and pleasure. We have been preparing for the arrival of all the children, and the activities associated with the start of the 2022-2023 school year. As in the past, all students K-12 will receive free breakfast and lunch.
Technology has been a priority so that our students are prepared for the rapidly changing society that we live in. Each year we set goals and objectives and one of the ongoing priorities is to enhance technology opportunities for our students. Every child has access to their own individual computer with the latest software so that they can access cyber/hybrid learning. All of our textbooks have computer related software so that children can practice at school or home. The Shade-Central City School District is committed to continuously making improvements to ensure your child receives the safest, enriching, and most meaningful education possible.
Our professional staff is dedicated to helping each and every child succeed, and monitor your child's academic, social, and overall progress. We encourage all parents to get involved in your child's education, as we work together in the best interest of our children. The past several years have been difficult for everyone, especially for children. We have navigated, adapted, and did the best we could under the circumstances. Hopefully, the pandemic is behind us and we can move forward. Our ultimate goal is to continuously strive to improve global educational experience for all the children in the District.
As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
Mr. John Krupper
Superintendent
