New fluency stories were sent home on Friday, February 18.  You child will be assessed on this story, A Helmet for Hot Rod, on Friday, February 25.  Please practice reading the story a few times each night.  It will be hard at first, but as your child reads the story each day it should become easier.  Your child will read this story to me in class on Friday and answer 2 comprehension questions.
