Shade schools are conducting a survey to assess parent interest in providing lunches to students while schools are closed. Please click the link below and complete the attached survey by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18.
Don't forget that pet supplies are being collected for the Somerset Humane Society. The shelter could use anything from new dog, cat, and bunny food to clean blankets/towels/rags, peanut butter, toys, and so much more. Click herefor a full list of items the shelter needs! Any contribution to our mission of helping others by supporting our local animal shelter will be greatly appreciated. We are encouraging the entire Shade community to participate in this drive. The homeroom class that brings in the most supplies will be awarded a movie and popcorn party. A group of our students will be helping to collect the donated supplies and organizing them for the trip to the humane society on February 28th. Thank you in advance for all of your help!

Valentine’s Day❤️
No School - Monday, February 17, 2020
There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, February 17 in observance of Presidents' Day.
There is also a 12:30 dismissal on Friday, February 21, 2020. It is 1/2 an Act 80 day for teachers.
Valentine's Day Card Box
Make sure your child has been working on creating a box for their valentine cards. A shoe box or something similar in size will be perfect. Please make sure your child's name is clearly visible on their box, so their valentines can be easily delivered. You may begin to send boxes in on Wednesday, February 12, and ALL Boxes need to be here by Friday, February 14. Have fun decorating and designing and be as creative as you'd like! I can't wait to see what everyone brings in!
Happy 100th Day of school! We celebrated by making a 100 piece snack, a gum ball machine with 100 gum balls, searched for 100 animals, and wrote about what we will do when we are 100. It was a great day! Check out the photo album for more pictures.
Show Your School Spirit for Froggy 95
Please wear your Shade apparel to school tomorrow, February 5, 2020. Froggy 95 will be here to pick up Valentine cards our students made for local senior citizens.
